Wearable devices can be used to track their activity in real time and encourage them to move about more often. Research in the field has been aided by large-scale recording technologies, the advent of imaging techniques with a better resolution and data analysis tools.

Acceleration in technological developments is what is expected to resolve the problems in the current day. The needs to be a solution-oriented approach. People must look at the development of newer tools to acquire fundamental insights and bridge the knowledge gaps. The central challenges need to be identified and assessed.
